"Catherine is a superb instructor with amazing warmth and charisma. Catherine really cares about people and this is highly evident not only in her teaching, but in her communication with class participants; she makes all feel welcome, no matter what age or ability. On top of all of this, Catherine has a huge zest for life which is truly infectious; this combined with her passion to make the world a better place makes her exceptional and I would highly recommend her classes to anyone". GIVE ZUMBA A GO. After suffering with two slipped disc's and the disc has inpinged on a nerve so i suffer from agonising pain in my back and down both legs. Also having damaged both my knees in a car accident, i have arthritis quite bad which i take strong medication for , so with all this and being a OAP i was close to being knocked off my perch . I felt sorry for myself sometimes as i can no longer go for walks along our lovely beaches etc, as i walk with two sticks it's not much fun .While in Hayle one day i saw a notice for Zumba with Catherine Campbell .So along i went i felt very embarrassed as i arrived with both walking sticks , I'm sure i got some strange looks but Catherine welcomed me I'm not sure who felt worse Catherine in case i damaged myself doing to much or me in case i fell down and could'nt get back up . Although i probably did'nt do to much i was happy with what i had accomplished and could'nt wait for the following week . I must of looked strange going in with two walking sticks. But each week i felt i got better maybe i did maybe i did'nt , but i was enjoying myself . I always attended class if my arthritis played up or my back hurt i always did as much as i felt comfortable with and i sat down when some routines i could'nt do Catherine never made me feel awkward . Now more than a year on i no longer use my sticks to and from class i feel better i no longer sit down as i do all routines not as well as the instructor but i do my best . I really do enjoy my Zumba and it is a very good workout. I have lost weight and i feel better. Sadly my walking has not improved as much as i would like but it's easy to say i can't do this i have arthritis, i have this pain but sometimes you need to push yourself a little . Zumba has helped me it is fun . Catherine is very supportive and you never feel uncomfortable. It's a chance to meet new people so i urge anyone who has a few problems but needs exercise to give Zumba classes a try you will love it. Chrisse Custard

Brazil has Rio De Janeiro, London has Notting Hill and St.Just in Penwith has Lafrowda Day! the atmosphere in the village last Saturday was electric, filled with marvelous parades, colourful costumes, wonderful street bands and amazing dancers. One of the greatest elements of St.Just is the tremendous community spirit, everyone is so deeply involved with the performance and costumes of their groups. The Zumba girls made a big impact on the day with their boundless energy, mesmerizing routines and colourful 80’s outfits. Their nuclear powered instructor, the beautiful Catherine Campbell, led them in the main procession much to the delight of the vast crowds the majority who were probably feeling extremely unfit as the girls zumbered past! :-) Kris Meaden
